Headline: BD mission pays homage to India's first Air Marshal
NEW DELHI, Sept. 18 : Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has paid homage to India's first Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh who died of heart attack . He was 98.
Deputy High Commissioner A.T.M. Rokebul Haque and Defence Advisor Brig. Gen. Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman placed floral wreath at Arjan Singh's coffin before his cremation .
Marshal Singh served as the chief of Indian Air Force from 1964 to 1969.
He held the office of the Lt. Governor of Delhi from 1989-1990 besides serving as India's envoy to Kenya and Switzerland.
