Headline: New Delhi mission launches special Victory Day publication
New Delhi, Dec. 27: - Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has unveiled a coffee table book (ctb) to mark the Victory Day-2016.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali launched the 98-page CTB at a simple ceremony at the conference room of the chancery on Tuesday. He was flanked by officers of the mission.
The publication contains write-ups _ illustrated with photos _ on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the history of 1971 War of Liberation, Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a national icon and global player, ten special initiatives launched by the prime minister and Bangladesh’s enviable achievements in women empowerment, social security and international cricket.
The CTB also has articles on Bangladesh’s heritage and culture, the investment opportunities for foreign companies, the tourism attractions among others.
Syed Muazzem Ali said the publication has highlighted Bangladesh’s glorious past, shining present and bright future.
He thanked the mission’s press wing for its work in bringing out the “excellent book.”
